1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GitaAstro (gitaastro.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

GitaAstro is a Vedic astrology platform that provides:

  • Birth chart (Kundli) generation using the Swiss Ephemeris engine with sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa)
  • Divisional charts (D-1 through D-60), Vimshottari Dasha timelines, yoga detection, and Ashtakavarga analysis
  • AI-powered astrological interpretations via the Anthropic Claude API
  • Compatibility (Ashtakoot) matching
  • Transit analysis and annual (Varshaphal) predictions
  • Daily Bhagavad Gita guidance based on current planetary transits

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use GitaAstro. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth details you provide. Incorrect birth data will result in inaccurate charts.
  • You must not create charts for other individuals without their knowledge or consent, particularly when using the compatibility matching feature.

5. Astrological Disclaimer

All astrological content on GitaAstro is provided for informational, educational, and spiritual guidance purposes only.

  • Astrological readings and predictions are based on traditional Vedic (Parashari) principles and are not scientifically verified.
  • Nothing on this platform constitutes medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind.
  • Do not make important life decisions based solely on astrological readings. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, legal, or financial matters.
  • Predictions about health, relationships, career, and life events are traditional interpretations, not guarantees of future outcomes.
  • If remedies are suggested (gemstones, mantras, rituals), these are traditional Vedic recommendations with no scientifically verified efficacy. They are not medical prescriptions.
  • Astrological calculations may vary slightly between different software systems due to differences in ayanamsa precision, ephemeris data, and computational methods.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The astrological interpretations provided through our AI Reading feature are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude API). You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated readings may contain errors, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies.
  • Readings are produced by an AI model trained on general knowledge, not by a human astrologer.
  • AI interpretations are based on the computed chart data and traditional Vedic astrological principles as understood by the AI.
  • GitaAstro does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated interpretation.
  • You use AI-generated readings at your own discretion and risk.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

  • GitaAstro offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans unlock additional features as described on our Pricing page.
  • Payments are processed via UPI. You are responsible for providing a valid transaction ID for verification.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect on their next billing cycle.

8. No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. Since GitaAstro provides digital services that are delivered immediately upon payment, no refunds will be issued. Please review the plan features on our Pricing page and our Refund Policy before subscribing.

If you experience a genuine technical failure where the service was not delivered at all, please contact us at support@gitaastro.com and we will review your case.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The GitaAstro name, logo, website design, chart renderings, and software are our intellectual property.
  • AI-generated readings and chart data produced for your account are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or republish AI-generated readings as professional astrological advice.

10. Prohibited Uses

  • Using the service to harass, defame, or cause harm to others.
  • Scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of data from the platform.
  • Redistribution of readings or chart data for commercial purposes without written consent.
  • Creating charts for others without their knowledge or consent.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the platform’s security.

11. Limitation of Liability

GitaAstro is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not warrant the accuracy of astrological calculations or AI-generated interpretations.
  • We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the content provided by the service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your saved charts and personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of GitaAstro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of GitaAstro after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
